| 5G and digital innovation in a post-COVID world with Matt Hitti (Vodafone)

In December 2019, Vodafone New Zealand switched on the first commercial mobile 5G network for Aotearoa, activating 100 cell sites across Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown.

The 5G rollout continues across the country, and along with it comes a new wave of digital technology that will change the way we live, work and play. Drawing on his experience leading 5G strategy and innovation for Vodafone Business customers, Matt Hitti will explain what 5G means for New Zealand, how it will help with the post-COVID recovery, and how businesses of all sizes can take advantage of the benefits it brings.

Matt Hitti As Strategy and Architecture Lead for Vodafone New Zealand, Matt works closely with Vodafone Business customers, assisting them with the innovation and implementation of cutting-edge business solutions, particularly using Vodafone’s world-class 5G network.

With over 15 years in the telecommunications industry, Matt is passionate about supporting businesses of all sizes, focussing on the principles of human-centred design and agile execution to deliver key business outcomes. Matt is an accomplished jazz musician who grew up in Colorado, U.S.A., and has a deep interest in how technology can best serve humanity to create a better future for all.
