Owner Manager Exchange

Reflect on your growth journey, refresh your thinking about yourself and the business and re-immerse yourself in The Icehouse.

The Owner Manager Exchange (OMX) is a next level programme designed for graduates of The Icehouse Owner Manager Programme (OMP) and Agribusiness Programme who want to reflect on their growth journey and refresh their thinking.

During the programme Alumni business owners will complete a Business of International Quality (BIQ) assessment; a tool that allows a business owner to judge where their strengths are and where there is room for improvement.  The BIQ framework has identified 6 areas that need to be managed well in order to raise the chances of success as a kiwi business:  Leadership, Offering, Market, Capital, Processes and Governance.

Mentor-Peer Learning

During the programme participants will have an opportunity to break into small groups to discuss their own BIQ assessment facilitated by one of the business advisors. This format will be familiar for Owner Manager Programme business planning discussions.

Participants will discuss aspects of their business in depth with some great business minds, advisers as well as fellow participants.

If you are an Alumni, we want you to walk away with new insights and a clear understanding on how to grow your business further or tackle some issues you may have.

Spend quality time with experienced business leaders, participate in panel discussions around best-practice NZ case studies, reflect on the state of your business and plan for the future with input from industry experts and connect with other Alumni.
