When our founder David Irving initially pitched the idea of Icehouse in 2000, he had a very simple value proposition – he wanted to develop a journey programme for New Zealand’s small and medium-sized enterprises, these ‘bloody things called SMEs’. They were like flies, buzzing everywhere, but you couldn’t grab hold of them, and you didn’t necessarily know where they were coming from – but they were the engine room of the New Zealand economy, and no one was teaching them how to grow.
Over 20 years later, we've seen over 1,000 Owner Managers of Kiwi businesses complete our flagship programme, the Owner Manager Programme and thousands more have worked with Icehouse in some capacity. They've walked away from the programme feeling a greater sense of confidence, aspiration, and clarity on their role in the business, and more connected to other Owner Managers of Kiwi businesses.
We understand the importance of and impact made by Kiwi small and medium-sized enterprises and the people that run them. We're so proud to be involved in their transformative process from pre-programme to post-programme and beyond.
