"The Owner Manager Programme was literally life-changing. I was on the brink of throwing in the towel, I’d arrive home exhausted and my wife would say ‘you’re killing yourself’. The spin-off for HySpecs has been a growth in turnover of 50% over the past three years with a comparable profit increase. Improved perception of HySpecs as a growing and positive business is luring former staff members back to the company and a new spin-off company (Hytech) has also been formed. We‟ve gone from 23 employees to 65, now have two New Zealand branches and recently opened one in Melbourne, which was a great achievement.
Our business in now unrecognisable from what it was over a decade ago. There have been massive changes and massive growth, much of which is attributable to The Icehouse."
