About Jim

Jim has recently commenced a role as an independent business mentor, assisting business owners achieve desired outcomes from their business. He focuses on guiding them to develop options to progress the business to the next stage, whether it be further investment, transition or sale.

Jim has over 30 years of experience as a successful mid-market business sales specialist. During this time he founded a Nationwide business sales operation, and helped to establish a mid-market business sales division for PwC Auckland. He has experience in most business sectors.

Jim works with his clients to develop a vision, identify opportunities for business growth, and develop a plan to achieve it. His style is inclusive and empathetic, often coordinating the skills of others to achieve positive outcomes.

Jim is also an Alumini one of the early Icehouse Owner Manager Programme and has continued his connection with the Icehouse over the last 20 years.
