The ICEHOUSE Seed Fund

What is it?

The ICEHOUSE Seed Fund provides early stage funding for residents in the ICE Accelerator incubator (How to be a resident in the ICE Accelerator incubator?).  The fund is a collaboration between The ICEHOUSE and two leading investment groups, Sparkbox and K1W1.

Successful applications to The ICEHOUSE Seed Fund are matched by the New Zealand Venture Investment Fund’s Seed Co-Investment Fund (SCIF), enabling Kiwi entrepreneurs to source up to $150,000 for their project.  The ICEHOUSE Seed Fund helps entrepreneurs with good ideas to test the viability of their concept and whether it can be grown into a business.
 

Who?

  1. You need to be a resident in the ICE Accelerator incubator (How to be a resident in the ICE Accelerator incubator?).
  2. Your company operates in one of these market sectors: IT, communications, medical technology, bio or medical devices, cleantech, internet.
  3. Your product must be unique, differentiated and innovative.
  4. Your company must have clear and defined IP.
  5. The management team of your company is enthusiastic, energetic, experienced, show integrity and have a clear vision for the business.
  6. Your company has a valuation between $250,000 - $500,000.
