This Week in Startups: Auckland vs. Sydney
On the 4th of August we hosted the Auckland vs. Sydney International Meetup Cup.
In a live video link between This Week in Startups in the US, Fishburners in Sydney and The ICEHOUSE in Auckland selected Auckland Start-ups competed against start-ups from Sydney in the International Meet-up Cup held by This Week in Startups.

The International Meet-up Cup is a “World Cup-style” tournament. In each event two cities will be pitted against each other in a live meet-up event, with companies from each city pitching to win the gold.
The Auckland event is presented by Kiwi Landing Pad and took place at The ICEHOUSE.
At the event 10 Auckland Start-ups competed against each other in a pitching competition. Judges selected the best three start-ups who then went on and compete against the top three from Sydney in a live meet up.
