The ICE Angels is a collective of individual investors, rather than a pooled investment fund. Investors make their own decisions on investments and usually take an active role in the direction of the company following investment. Our members are CEOs, senior executives, entrepreneurs and professionals with experience in the entrepreneurial space. Our Angels are active investors, and in addition to supplying cash to the venture, they take a proactive role in developing investments. Thus, in addition to meeting our criteria outlined below, we take into account the ability of an Angel to 'add value' when considering applications for membership.
To be considered for membership by The ICE Angels, applicants must satisfy one or more of our membership criteria:
- wealthy (net assets of at least $2,000,000; or had an annual gross income of at least $200,000 for each of the last 2 financial years)
- experienced in investing money
- experienced in the industry or business to which the security relates. Further, the individual will be required to sign an acknowledgement to such effect.
